Our Aims

We use Taekwondo as a means of self-defense training for adolescent girls, women, and children, empowering them to prevent violence and improve their safety.

Our Objective

The organization aims to use Taekwondo technical basics for self-defense training for adolescent girls, women, and children. This initiative will empower participants to safeguard themselves from dangerous situations. We recognized the need for this program due to the rising inhumanity within our society. While Taekwondo is often unrecognized within our county, this initiative is crucial for protecting vulnerable groups.

Our focus includes addressing the following issues:

  • Rape
  • Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Intimidation
  • Violence

By equipping individuals with self-defense skills, we aim to reduce such incidents. Through these skills, participants will be able to protect themselves in various settings, including schools, workplaces, and even while safeguarding their families and businesses.

Purpose of the Project

The purpose of this project is to train adolescent girls, young women, children, and vulnerable youths in Taekwondo basics and techniques. Our goal is to promote social inclusion, empowerment, and encourage participation in unrecognized sports, especially those beneficial for addressing pressing issues faced by girls, women, and children. This project also aims to:

  • Promote social inclusion
  • Empower participants
  • Encourage active engagement in sports
  • Sensitize communities on the importance of sports
  • Foster equal participation in any interests, especially in unrecognized indoor sports activities

We are dedicated to initiating Taekwondo sessions in both primary and secondary schools to tackle issues affecting young individuals.

Our goal is to create an inclusive, equitable environment that fosters physical health, self-defense skills, and overall well-being, aiming to lead training efforts across Turkana County.
